




Welcome! We would like to escort you to a hidden destination where you can observe a secret world of Gibbons and other wildlife living freely in the own natural habitats.
Deeper inside Phuket tropical rain forest, called Khao Pra Taew (non-hunting area), is home to a number of happy and healthy gibbon families that have been released to the forest area after being trained and rehabilitated for about 10 years by local specialists at Gibbon Rehabilitation Project (GRP), a very success project of The Wild Animal Rescue Foundation, which is the first and the only project in world that able to release pre-captived gibbons back to the wild.
“Follow a Gibbon Trail” is an exclusive program in conjunction with GRP education program to create awareness and learn to respect wildlife and environment. It is a privileged opportunity which limited to only 4 visitors per day maximum in order not to distract and disturb the jungle atmosphere. In this trip you will also be leaded to the world of Gibbon by GRP staff who is a highly expert in this destination as well as a specialist in the field.

Pick up at your hotel in Phuket by our staff. Then, you will be transferred by a project van to Bang Phae Waterfall, a home of the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre. |

On you arrival at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre, a brief orientation from the project staff will be given. Then start trekking into the deep rainforest in search for our released gibbons. |

Experience a number of small wildlife along the way. Take a short break around a crystal clear forest pond. |

Arrived at the released station. Learn more about Gibbons from the staff and watch gibbons swing their way from the canopy to the feeding area. Experience a beauty of our closest specie on Earth that finally has a great time back to its habitat. |

Refreshing at a cool Bang Phae waterfall. Then your lunch will be served. |
